With high durability, small footprint, and features like host lock and health statistics through the card health monitor, these cards are used by multiple imaging devices to provide long lasting storage of video – either as a standalone solution, as local failover storage for an NVR, or as a companion to a cloud solution in a VSaaS system.
The cards can be part of the original design or be added to the edge device later – when the unit is already deployed in the field – by a service provider, an integrator or a value added reseller.
